The last time I updated this website was right after Will's second birthday. So we're looking at 4 months ago. Since then he has gotten his 2 year molar's, given away the paci and moved into a big boy bed. The paci was easy. The bed's another story. I wish every night that he was still in his crib. At first, it was impossible to get him to stay in his bed at bedtime. Now, that's no problem and he falls off to sleep pretty well. But he usually makes an appearance in our room in the early hours of the morning. And then usually again around 5:00. I take him right back into his bed. We laugh about it because there's no doubt he's coming. His footsteps are like an elephant coming through the kitchen and we think he runs it with his eyes closed like he has the path memorized. I just wish we all could get a full night's rest without a trip back and forth across the house. The pictures I chose are a mix of him over the last 4 months. It starts with the family photos we took back in July and ends with the most recent photo's of Will, cheering me on during the Breast Cancer 3 day walk. He was out there everyday wearing his My Mommy is a Survivor shirt. He'd give the ladies high 5's, bonkem with balloons (as in the video) and take the candy from all of those around him.

is hard work...

But lot's of fun!

Even though Will is just turning 2, he's had a case of the terrible twos for quite some time. He can be a sweet as possible and in an instant- look out- something comes over him and he's quite the little dickens. He had a nice party last weekend. All the grandparents were down and few family friends were over. He liked his happy cake (that's what he calls birthday cake) and enjoyed all the new gifts he received- thomas the train toys, jumping toys, clothes, a book, a tractor, bowling set and few other nice things. He received quite a few nice cards in the mail as well. He went for his 24 month check up this week. His height is 37 1/4 inches (97%) and weighs 30 lbs (73%). Think he'll really be 6'2"? They said double a kids height a 2 to find their adult height. We'll just have to wait 20 years and find out. He is just as active as he's always been. It's rough now that he can open the refigerator door- he just helps himself- and he can eat! His favorite at the moment is toss between strawberries and raisins. His favorite color seems to be orange. He wants to wear an orange shirt each morning and gets really excited when he sees an orange truck. Today he watched his Daddy mow the grass. He said " Will (which sounds like wool) watch daddy tractor window. Daddy tractor mow grass." Then made a sound like the lawn mower. I just thought it was adorable. Well hope you enjoy the pictures from the last several weeks.

Beach Trip 2009

A little bigger than last years huh?

Beach Trip 2009 to Saint George Island FL. was a lot of fun. A little different than 2008. Will was much more active so it certainly wasn't a relaxing vacation but definitley an enjoyable one. He liked to kick his feet in the waves and chase the birds on the beach. He thought it was fun to dump buckets of water on his Pawpaw. He seemed to like climbing the 3 flights of stairs (over and over) inside the beach house more than anything though. Now we're all looking forward to the beach in 2010.

Happy Easter

Will had a fun Easter. He racked up during the Easter Egg hunt at church. He enjoyed it so much that he's had us hiding eggs around the house just about every day since. I put a little treat inside and he enjoys finding them and getting his goody. All is well.
