4 months old

Will turned 4 months old last week. He went to the doctor for a check up and another series of shots. He weighs 14lbs 12oz and is 26 1/4 inches long. He is pretty tall for his age- 86 percentile. Nurse Chris said it was ok to start with solid food. We've been trying the cereal for the last couple of days and it's not going so good. He started out pretty good but now he doesn't want anything to do with it. He screams until you give him his milk. He loves his milk. I'll keep trying. Otherwise maybe we'll wait until next month. We're also practicing sitting up. He can actually do it for about 4 seconds. He's started holding his bottle from time to time too. We've recently had another break through. He's had 5 baths in a row without crying. We're really having a lot of fun with him now. He likes to read books, eat his fingers, drool, laugh out loud, grab noses, and squeal....loudly.

I'm 3 months old

This sure looks complicated

Dad, show me how to use this thing.

It is so hard being a baby.

He loves sticking his tongue out

Will at his first car show
Dad, wishing he and Will were riding in the cobraWill is getting ready for his first trip to Home Depot.
All the fun wore him out.
I've noticed a big change in Will from 2 months to 3 months. He's getting chubby for one. Mostly though he is great with his hand eye coordination. He can reach out and smack things and even likes kicking things with his feet. He has learned to roll over from his stomach to his back. He is talking so much more and loves it when we talk to him. I'm not 100% certain but he may be getting ready to cut a tooth before long. He is drooling an awful lot, very irritable certain times of the day, and tries to munch on my fingers. Why do they have to grow up so fast???

It seems like Will is growing and changing everyday. He is learning a few new tricks these days. I suspect he will be rolling over fairly soon. He's gotten pretty close several times. He's getting much stronger on his tummy and he loves sitting up- assisted of course. He is great at smiling and sticking his tongue out. I love to hear him talk. It just melts my heart.
He went to the doctor last week. He now weighs 12lbs 6oz and is 24'' long. He had to get 2 shots. He was such a good boy. He only screamed for the 10 seconds it took to administer the shots. As soon as the nurse was done, so was he.
There's only one more thing I should say about Will for now- He's spoiled rotten!

First Football Saturday

Saturday was a fun day for Will. First Crystal and Logan came over. The boys had a great time playing together. It was so cute to see them side by side. Then Will put on his Notre Dame hat and watched his first football game with his dad. He's an Irish fan already. After that game, they put their Auburn gear on and got ready to cheer for the Tigers. He seemed to enjoy his first football Saturday.
