Happy 1st Birthday

It's hard to believe that Will is 1 year old. I think he really enjoyed his birthday. He had lot's of family and friends to help him celebrate. Eating cake was fun and messy. And playing in the mess that the presents made was the best. After the bows and paper were picked up he realized he had a lot of neat toys to play with. I guess at this rate I'd better start planning his 2nd birthday. I think he has a little bit of a 2 year old in him already :)

Hello All, I haven't published a post in a while. So here is a video that I took today of Will being silly along with a few random shots. His birthday is next week so there will be plenty of pictures soon.

Pictures with Friends

Logan came over to play and it looks like everything is going well.
But then it appears that some words were exchanged.....

and elbows started to fly.....
next thing we know they're on the ground.......
and feet and arms are flying.
Thankfully, the daddies stepped in and it ended peacefully. We are planning another visit soon:)

"If I put the sand in the shovel...
...and dump it in here...

..I can make a sandcastle!!!"

Grandma, Grandpa, Dad, Will and I went to St. George Island last week for a nice, relaxing, beach vacation. We all had a great time especially Will. The first morning was a little cool and windy but that didn't stop us from playing in the water. He really seemed to like the waves splashing on his feet. The sand was easy for him to walk on and he would take off down the beach. Once he even took off for the water. We took him to the pool one day as well. He had a great time splashing around while floating in his crab and daddy made him laugh by blowing bubbles in the water. We had a hard time getting him to keep his hat on but eventually he forgot it was on. It was interesting trying to get the sand off of him at the end of the day. He had it in just about every crevis on his body and even ate some here and there. He was a great little boy on this trip and acted like he loved every minute. Make sure you click play and watch the videos.

Will Walking

Will started taking steps right after his 9 mo. birthday. 5 days later he could go across the room. Now he is making laps around the room. He doesn't crawl hardly at all anymore. Sorry this video is sideways. I just can't figure out how to rotate it. So lean your head to the right, push play, and enjoy!!

9 month checkup (at 9mo and 3 weeks)

Will was such a good boy at the doctors today. He was waving at everyone and smiling and talking. He usually cries when we weigh him and lay him on the table but not today. So here are his stats. Weight- 21lbs (47%) Height- 30.5 in (93%) Head Circumference 18" (52%). Apparently he has been eating to many orange/yellow veggies because she said his face was tinted so we have to incorporate more of the other colors. Basically peas. Unless I can get him to eat green beans. Maybe I can dump bananas over them and fool him. So our little orange man is good and healthy!

Hey,put some barbque on my carrots! I've done my chores, now where's my allowance?
Hey mom, catch me if I fall.
Look out here I come!
Anybody seen Will?

Will and I just got back from a trip to VA. We went to visit with GG and Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Will did really well considering it took 11 hours to get there. We made several stops so that he could have a break from the car seat. I am proud of him. We enjoyed seeing the family and Will got to meet his Great Great Aunt Ann and Uncle Ernest and his Great Aunt Martha and Aunt Mary and Uncle Burnley. And cousin Laura, Anna Grace and Frank, Shaun and Seth. Just before we left for our trip Will started letting go of what he was holding on to and walking across the room. He has really got the hang of it now. He's gotten a few scratches from where he's fallen down but he just get's right back up and takes off. I think he enjoys walking. He's walking more now that crawling. I discovered his 5th tooth while we were away. That one snuck in on me. He's learned to wave whenever you say goodbye to him. He'll even occasionally say bye bye. It's pretty cute. Grandma and Granddad love to make him wave. We go to the dr next week so I'll update again after his visit.
